Palm Springs Travel Guide

Hello everyone! I had such an amazing and relaxing weekend in Palm Springs and had to share some of the gems of Palm Springs. I have been to Palm Springs a few times and these places are just so classic and musts if you are ever in the area! Whether we were eating our way through Downtown Palm Springs or relaxing by the pool, I consolidated our faves and hope that you can check them out on your next trip to Palm Springs, fun for teens and families alike! Palm Springs definitely has my stamp of approval!

To Eat:

Cheeky’s

Cheeky’s was SOO amazing (as pictured above). The wait was a bummer, but well worth it because we were so hungry and the food just hit the spot! Being the picky eaters we are, we were obsessed with the thin, crispy buttermilk waffles (comparable to the classic egos ha!) with the bacon flight, which was a sample of unique bacon slices for the whole table to share. Cheeky’s is a hot spot in PS, but definitely a place you should check out!

King’s Highway

On our trips to Palm Springs, we always like to visit all the hip and quirky hotels sprinkled around Palm Springs, so it was a must that we visited the Ace. Attached to the popular Ace Hotel, we ate dinner at King’s Highway, and it was a super cozy diner-inspired spot, perfect for comfort food and some card games. Their burgers are superb, as well as the fish tacos. I haven’t been there for breakfast, but I heard that they offer a pretty killer brunch menu too. 😉

Norma’s

Norma’s is in the Parker Hotel, by far my favorite hotel in Palm Springs. The whole lot is filled with the cutest decor and the pool and lemonade bar provide the perfect aesthetic for a day by the pool. We were not able to stay at the Parker because it was booked full, but breakfast was super yummy. The crunchy french toast and huevos rancheros are total heart eyes…

The Draughtsman’s

This restaurant was recommended to us by a Palm Springs local and it was perfect for a quick lunch to escape the heat. I loved the gold accessories.

Pretty much adjacent to the Draughtsman’s and the Arrive Hotel, the Ice Cream Shoppe was everything I needed for a cute ice cream shop fix. I also loved all the cool gift items that was attached to the store – great souvenirs.

Koffi

Koffi has a few locations scattered around Palm Springs and has a great coffee and latte selection with the little designs on top. You can never go wrong with some aerial coffee pics on the snap 🙂

Aerial Tramway

Super cool ride up with panoramic views and a much needed escape from the heat, where the temp drops almost 20 degrees at the top. It has an awesome view of the famous windmills and an overview of the Palm Springs oasis.

Pool Side with a Floatie

I mean, it isn’t spring break without a pic with a cute floatie, right? I am obsessed with the swimmylife floaties and aside from the strenuous carrying of our massive flamingo floatie, it was fun to float around and chill with a smoothie and some fun shades.

Moorten’s Botanical Garden

This was a super cute photo-op with all the cacti and succis local to Palm Springs. We especially loved the indoor greenhouse filled to the rim with cacti and cool plants.

#ThatPinkDoor

Located at 1100 Sierra Way, we loved the charming pink door and other mid-century modern houses that are all over instagram. The combination of the pink door and the streets lined with palm trees captures the perfect Palm Springs moment.

Wall at the Parker

The renowned white wall in front of the Parker is so awesome for pics and the workers there even encourage it and offer to take any pictures you want. We can’t think of any reason NOT to love the parker…

Cool Hotels:

All of these are super trendy and hip, each unique in their own way. Maaaajor desert vibes home interior inspo!
