Hello everyone! Happy Labor Day to all! Today I wanted to bring to light something that I value so much and that is the power of girls. One of my best friends, Carley, and I are in the process of starting a club to focus on the importance of how to gain self love and self respect. It is so hard to watch girls tear each other apart, or compete or go behind each others’ backs because we need each other and thrive off of each other, so why the heck are we each other’s worst enemy! 😦 today I just wanted to talk about our club and the force behind it all, because any strides towards female unity we can take, we will! 
I want to start by saying can’t even begin to describe how much my friends mean to me and how grateful I am to have such strong, powerful ladies take on these crazy years with. There is nothing more precious than those moments with your girls singing in the car or peeing your pants laughing after getting McDonalds at 12 at night. Why do we feel the need to be each other’s enemy when if we band together we are THAT much more inspired and inspiring. 
Boys. Oh boys. I hate to see girls degrade themselves because of how a boy sees them or treats them, because a wise friend once told me that actions speak way louder than words. Girl, you are WAY better than that so SNAP OUT OF IT. Boys are great, don’t get me wrong, but don’t ever let them determine your worth. They don’t deserve you if they can’t see all your wonderful attributes and all you have to offer. Just enjoy and take care of you. 
Taking care of your mind and your soul is SO important. I like to take an hour out of my week to just unwind, take a bath, do a face/hair mask, journal or read a book (for PLEASURE… what a concept?). It is so important to take time to yourself and focus on your health and on you, because how can you fill someone’s cup when you have nothing to pour! You are so beautiful and so worth it, so prove it to yourself that you deserve some pampering every now and then!
Just flat out be kind to others. Its soooo much harder to be mean or pick fights. Life is too short to be unhappy or to have any hate in your system. Go out there and make friends and HAVE FUN. I can’t stress it to you enough how good it feels give a girl a compliment and make their day. And vice versa, when you’re having a really crappy day and a girl tells you she likes your shoes, your day can completely turn around. Just think about how that made you feel so much better and feel the love. 
Lastly, go out there and be BOLD! Girls are so rad and so cool, there is so much depth that lies beneath a girl, and it is so motivating watching girls get what they want! Don’t let people drag you down or get in the way of what you want. Boss babes are taking over the world, so lets all get work together to get reach our goals. Follow your gut and follow your dreams. It seems so intimidating to put yourself out there, but with your girls by your side, everything seems a little less scary.
Anyway, I am just so excited to get our club rolling and bringing girls together FOR REAL. Together we are going to take that kickboxing class, wear the dress, just go for it! All my attempts at motivation are so cringe and cliche but girl power is real and taking over the world and we are all going to be apart of it. Thank you for reading! xx
